FOUNDER

I am an experienced educator with over 15 years as both a special education teacher and school administrator. My professional focus is on supporting students with reading challenges, particularly those with dyslexia. I hold advanced training in Orton-Gillingham methodologies and am a Certified Structured Literacy Dyslexia Specialist through the International Dyslexia Association and the Center for Effective Reading Instruction. I am also a Certified Wilson Dyslexia Therapist.

My work is grounded in a commitment to helping students develop independence, self-determination, and confidence. I prioritize the integration of executive functioning and self-regulation skills into all aspects of instruction, recognizing their foundational role in academic and personal success.

Founding this company has been a long-standing aspiration, shaped by my experiences growing up in Northfield and working throughout the North Shore over the past ten years. I am proud to build a space where students and families can feel supported, empowered, and equipped to thrive.

I have spent over a decade working in education, developing a deep passion for supporting students with special needs and partnering with their families. My vision for Three for Thrive is to create a supportive, collaborative community for families who may feel overwhelmed and are seeking expert guidance to help navigate challenges and build lasting solutions.

In my most recent role as a Learning Behavior Specialist, I had the opportunity to work with a wide range of students across disability areas, including specific learning disabilities, developmental delays, emotional disabilities, and autism. I have a particular passion for supporting students with social-emotional and behavioral needs, and I’m dedicated to helping children develop self-regulation and coping strategies that support success in everyday life.

Outside of the classroom, I live in Wilmette with my husband and our three boys. As a parent myself, I bring a deeper understanding and appreciation for the parent perspective, and I look forward to working together to support your child’s growth and success.
